How many hours does a freelance make up artist work a week?
It really depends on how much they want to work. Freelance means the artist is free to work with as many or as few people they want. I know a few artists that work for several salons. They will be very busy on the weekends for proms, weddings and other functions. There is also a need for artists at TV stations, such as for the news reporters. Because of their schedules, they need people as early as 5 am and as late as the 11 o’clock news.
