Anywhere from 40 hours a week to 84 hours a week. It all depends on what your job is. If the base is having a war game, or you are deployed. or what project you are working on. Most of the Air Force work the 8:00 am to 4:30 shift.

It all depends on what career field, and what base… I know officers that are Mon-Fri 0730-1630, and then again I know officers who work 1745-0600 Fri-Mon with Tues/Weds off. Although from your question and the way you worded your question and your edits I can already tell that you would not go very far…and the enlisted members would probably eat you alive…. You’re going to be one who is in it just to be in it… not one who will thrive. Maybe you should go enlisted first so you at least learn to give a EFF about them…l.

Well, I was talking to my Air Force recruiter. They said any airmen and airmen officers don’t really work that much, Hence the nickname : Chair Force or Air Farce.
