Graduate students may not work more than 20 hours per week and must be enrolled in the credit hours specified in the above chart in order to maintain their student FICA exemption. It is understood that graduate student teaching and research assistants subject to collective bargaining may work no more than an average of 20 hours per week during the quarter, regardless of whether vacation or holidays are taken.
