How many hours are in a day and week for a full time daycare?
Normal hours are nine and a half per day available between 6AM -10 PM. Additional fee is calculated and payable for extra time spent in daycare for more than nine and half hours. Late fee will be charged for late pick up beyond agreeed time of keeping the child in daycare @ $5.00 for every 5 minutes late. This is irrespective of the time the child is dropped in the daycare. A standard week is a five day week Mon – Fri and weekly service is available for 47.5 hours @ nine and half hours a day. If the service is availed for lesser number of hours on a day than the said 9.5 hours, the hours can not accumulate for next day or next week. Weekend service if any is charged extra.
