Ans: The road that covers Kathmandu to Darchen (our destination for Parikrama where it starts and ends) is 817 km via Zhangmu. Lhasa to Darchen via Lhatse (south route) is 1,188 km. As per the above mileage, on good road condition we can drive 5-6 hours covering more than 200 km. However, as soon as we hit the rough road south west from Lharze coming from Lhasa or west from Nylam coming from Katmandu, the speed starts going down slowly because of road condition.
