How many honors classes must I complete to fulfill requirements for graduating as part of Track 2 of the Community of Scholars?
Students in Track 2 of the Community of Scholars must complete a total of 4 honors courses before graduation from CFCC. One class should be taken from each of the 4 academic areas covered by the program (Communications, Humanities, Social Science and Science/Technology). See the attached Track 2 Status Sheet for specifics about course offerings. Students enrolled in a major with a high number of technical pre-requisites (e.g., Engineering, pre-Med) are exempted from taking a class in the Science/Technology area and can complete Community of Scholars requirements by taking just 3 honors courses before graduation.
