How many homes has Knoxville Habitat for Humanity built?
Since 1985, we have built more than 320 homes in Knoxville. More than 1,000 men, women and children currently reside in Habitat homes, and of that number, more than half are under the age of 18, and the majority of those children are under age 10. In September 2000, Knoxville Habitat for Humanity began work on Easton Meadow, our first subdivision located in Northeast Knox County. Construction of all 51 home sites were completed by September 2003. October Woods, Knoxville Habitat for Humanitys second subdivision in Northeast Knox County, is currently being constructed. When completed in December 2007, there will be 41 homes.
