How many home sites are being planned for the new community and how are they sited?
Our conservation goals include providing high quality home sites at an overall density much lower than is permitted under the zoning ordinance. At build out, the number of homes and home sites on the golf course should total approximately 200 +/-. The entire project is situated on approximately 570 acres. Additional types and styles of homes and sites will be made available near the club area. Plans have not been completed for the Snaggy Mountain estate area of the project. This density is less than what might have occurred under a traditional maximum development approach. Approximately 30% of the project has been dedicated to golf, trails, recreation or protected green space. Almost all of the home sites will have golf course frontage and views of the green space and surrounding natural areas. The Home Owners Association will control access to Deep Creek Lake.
