How many Hanson interview CDs are there?
The known interview discs include “Pepsi Music Live – Hanson,” “MM Talk” (sic), “An Interview With Hanson,” and “Star Profile: Hanson.” “Pepsi Music Live – Hanson” was released in the UK in 1998 (as part of a Pepsi promotion that also included track/interview CDs for The Spice Girls, Coolio, and Eternal) and includes a live version of “Man From Milwaukee,” as well as an interview with the band. The most notable and amusing part of the interview is where Taylor promotes Pepsi, and editing seamlessly ties it in with the rest of the interview (Taylor describes Pepsi as being “hip” and “cool”). The disc had a limited number of pressings and is considered rare today. Both the “MM Talk” and “An Interview With Hanson” interviews were conducted and released in 1998. In 1999, “Star Profile: Hanson” was released, which was basically just the “MM Talk” and “An Interview With Hanson” discs put together, along with a 100 page booklet that included photos of the band.
