How many graduate applications does the law faculty receive each year and how many places are there in the graduate program?

In the 2003/2004 application year, the PhD and research-stream LLM program at Osgoode Hall received approximately 194 applications, two-thirds of which were applications to the LLM program and one-third representing PhD applications. Each year, the graduate program admits approximately 24 students, with the goal of an even split between LLM and PhD admissions. International students should be aware that due to issues of funding, it is often more competitive than the above numbers suggest to secure a spot in the graduate program for international students requiring financial assistance.
