How many GMOs can I detect using DualChip GMO V2.0?
With the DualChip GMO it is possible to detect 11 EU-authorized GMOs using event-specific elements (GA21, Bt176 maize, MON810, MON863, GS40-3-2, T45, GT73, MON15985, MON531 and MON1445). In addition, 12 genetic elements commonly associated with genetic modifications of plants can be tested (p35S, tNos, pNos-nptII, cry1Ab-1 (3 gene varieties), cry3Bb1, EPSPS (3 gene varieties), Bar and PAT, as well as 7 plant elements (maize, soybean, cotton, rapeseed, sugar beet, rice and potato). With this unique combination of event-specific and screening- and plant-target elements, a large proportion of GMOs worldwide can be detected.
