How many gallons of oil will the Filtakleen by-pass oil filter maintain?
The Filtakleen oil filter is rated with a gallon capacity. The smallest filter manufactured by Filtakleen, the FIL368, will handle all gas engines. The FIL668, will handle oil sump capacities in diesel engines up to 6 gallons. The FIL878, will handle oil sump capacities in diesel engines up to 12 gallons and the FIL988, will handle oil sump capacities in diesel engines up to 25 gallons.
