How many fish can i put in 20 gallon fish tank?
hi many go by the 1-inch -per – gallon rule but that rule applies to fish up to about three inches after that it is different for as a fish grows it is not only the length but the width and height of the fish that you have to go by. so it will depend on the size of the fish will become, on how many you can have. in other words if you have fishes that are only going to be a inch long i would say 20 but if you have a fish that 6 inch long than that fish would need 10 + gallons but if you have a fish that is are will be 12 inches it would need a tank of 50 or more gallons of water to live in.
