How many fasteners are required to secure a Bestdeck panel?
Under normal conditions where surge is not an issue, one in each corner of the panel is sufficient. That’s four per 4′ x 4′ panel versus an average of 42 fasteners for the same square footage using individual boards. On docks with whaler boards and no surge issues, zero fasteners are possible for most panels on the dock. Secure the first and last panels and let the others float. The weight of the panels will hold them in place. In areas with heavy surge, more fasteners will be required.
