How many family physicians are on staff at the Onalaska Clinic?
There are nine family physicians on staff at the Onalaska Clinic. We have a combination of M.D.s and D.O.s. The main difference between the two types of physicians is that D.O.s practice osteopathic medicine and are trained to perform Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment on patients. This involves the use of their hands to diagnose injury and illness and to encourage your body’s natural ability to heal. How many female family physicians do you have on staff? We have three female family physicians on staff: Drs. Nancy Erickson, Carmen Dargel and Stephanie Maves. Do family physicians see prenatal patients? Yes. The family physicians at the Onalaska Clinic provide Birth by Design services. Your Onalaska Clinic family physician, along with your maternity counselor, will work with you to create a birth plan designed just for you.
