JImmy Case went on to win three European cups whilst a Liverpool player. Case was part of the Liverpool team that won the club’s first ever European cup in nineteen seventy seven when the reds beat German side Borussia three one in the final. Case also played when the reds defeated Belgian side Club Brugge at Wembley by a single Kenny Dalglish goal to nil. The third of Case’s European cup wins came in Paris, France when Liverpool beat Spanish giants Real Madrid in the final, again by a single goal to nil. In addition to Case’s three European cups, he also tasted victory in the European cups sister trophy, the UEFA cup in nineteen seventy six. Domestically, Case won four league championships, between the years of nineteen seventy six and nineteen eighty, and one League cup which was captured for the first time by Liverpool in nineteen eighty one.
