How many entrants win Webby Awards?
For each of the 100+ categories, the Academy will select five (5) Nominees which represent the five best in the category. Out of the Nominees, one (1) Winner will be selected and will win the coveted Webby Award in that specific category. Additionally, the online community, through a public vote, will also select a Winner from the Nominees in each category. These sites receive a Webby People’s Voice, Agency Voice or Critic’s Voice Award depending on which entry type was entered. Additionally, entries that are not chosen as Winners or Nominees, but are notable in their achievement, may be recognized as an Official Honoree by the Academy. There may be multiple entries (or no entries) in each category designated an Honoree. We reserve the right to honor less than five nominees in any category should the quality of work not meet standards set by the judging criteria.
