More than 104,000 employees within the core public administration participated in the first survey in 1999, representing a response rate of 54%. Approximately 95,000 employees, representing 57.8% of the workforce, responded to the second survey in 2002. And, in 2005, 58.9% or 106,000 employees participated. The results of these surveys are available on the survey website at www.survey-sondage.gc.ca. This is the first year that separate employers have been formally included in the scope of the survey.
