How many eMail addresses should I use?
Spam is something that was one of the first really big annoyances when using your PC. Its still there but probably to a lesser extent since most major ISPs and Security software provide spam filtering to move to unwanted or not requested email to a folder so it doesnt flood your in box. To take another step to avoid spam in my primary email inbox, I actually have several email addresses. I have my main address, and then I have another address. This is the address that I use when I subscribe to items on the web, register software, or wherever I am asked to provide an email address to get something I am interested in. This way, if that email address is ever sold / provided to partners / 3rd parties its not a critical one, and one that is designed to catch the junk. Weekly, I check that address for anything important then I delete the entire inbox. It does help reduce the frustration.
