How many Electoral votes did Andrew Jackson get?
In the Election of 1824, Andrew Jackson won 99 Electoral votes, higher than any other candidate. He even won the Popular Vote but did not become President that year. In the Election of 1828, he won 178 Electoral Votes; this time, it did put him in office. Jackson would run a third time in the Election of 1832 where he won with 219 Electoral votes and beating Henry Clay, John Floyd, and William Wirt.
