Four earthquakes have rattled the region of Santa Isabel, Baja California, Mexico on Monday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey’s Web site. The first temblor, 5.8 in magnitude, struck at 10:55 a.m. and was followed by a 6.9-magnitude quake just 5 minutes later. The third and fourth earthquakes struck at 11:33 and 11:40 a.m. with 5.0 and 5.9 magnitudes respectively. The epicenters of the quakes are off the coast of the peninsula, ranging from 40-80 miles northeast of Santa Isabel and are more than 300 miles south of the U.S.-Mexico border. There have been no reports of damages or injuries. No tsunami warning, watch or advisory is in effect for the West Coast, according to the West Coast and Alaska Tsunami Warning Center.
