Over the last fifteen years or so the DVLA have released many thousands of registrations and raised millions of pounds for the treasury, the question is when are the registrations going to run out? Firstly, all current 2 letter auction able registrations like “AA, AB, AC, AD, initially 9999 where available (E.G.. from 1 AA up to 9999 AA). Also registrations like “JET, LET, MET” from 1 up to 999 were available at auction (all reversed), with just the letter above DVLA initially had approx 43,000 registrations available to sell. Many registrations which look like names and words which are the current big earners raising thousands of pounds are names and words like J4 MES, S1 NGH, 51 NGH, P1 LOT, K1 NGS. The big question is, will the DVLA issue JAMES, SINGH, PILOT, KINGS, and then a few years later even JAMES 1, JAMES 2, SINGH 1,2, PILOT 1,2, etc..
