How many disabled people are Indigenous Australian?

I was recently told by a Disability Employment Network (DEN) Officer. That there is higher number of white people on Disability Support Pension (DSP), than Indigenous people, this is due to the fact, that the Indigenous people do not like to label themselves as disabled due to cultural beliefs, and they believe in looking after their own people disabled or not. I known a few indigenous people who do not like to acknowledge their disability, and have said they are sick, unless they feel comfortable around you. So even if you were able to find the statistics, they would not reflect the true numbers. But you might like to try talking to Centrelink, Disability Employment Network or a Koori service to get some approximate numbers.
