Barbie will celebrate her 50th anniversary next year in 2009. If they made at least 8 different Barbies a year for 50 years that’s 4,800 Barbies. But..I have a disc of Barbie dolls including exclusives and overseas releases through the years and I think there are over 6,000+ different Barbies including her friends.
