How many different processing components can be used simultaneously?
That depends on the type of component, as different components require different amounts of processing power. More and more components of any type can be added to a configuration until all the DSP is used up. For example, no more than 10 reverb components could be used together at any one time. On the other hand, 32 4-band PEQs, 32 compressors and 8 delays could all be used simultaneously in the same configuration.
