How many different languages has the bible been translated into?
A few brave men began to produce translations for everyone to read. Sometimes they would do this in secret, or in places where they felt safe. Almost anyone can read how God wants them to be saved, and how He wants them to live and worship. The Bibles we read today come from translations of the ancient texts. “To translate” means to put in the words of another language. Most of the Old Testament was written in the Hebrew language, but it was translated into Greek by the time of Jesus’ birth.
