How many days past a positive ovulation test kit until I can take a pregnancy test?

It takes at least 6 days for the fertilised egg to implant and then another 2 days for the hormone to build up enough to be detected. So the very earliest you can test is 8 dpo, but it’s not all that likely you’ll get a positive then because the egg might take 7 or 8 or 9 days to implant. If you are happy to test and get a possible false negative then start at 8dpo (so that’s 9 days after the positive OPK) but bear in mind that you are unlikely to get a positive until around 9 or 10 dpo, or possibly even later. Sounds like you are doing all the right things though so good luck to you!
