How many days are in a month of Sundays?
The phrase used as a descriptive for task or impossablity, Usually used by the fast talker or the con artist wishing to get out of work! Mostly used by Mom’s that can get the house cleaned with kids on hand! I would really up set mom when she used that phrase, ” A month of Sundays ” referring to getting the house clean with three boys tearing through like a whirly wind. LOL She would get quiet and then real mad before chasing me from the room or house with her broom, all I asked was which month she was talkin bout. Me standing there all grins cause I got her again, I told her one time your lucky this is the shortest month of the year, 28 Sundays It could have been tomorrow with 31 of em. Just figure 31 Sundays and all three of us under foot! A month of Sundays I always figured to be the month one found themselves in like January and 31 days, February with 28 or 29, maybe April with 30 days!
