How many days a week should I work with a personal fitness trainer?
When a client is first starting out, I recommend 2-3 personal training sessions per week. Three sessions per week will jump-start your routine without causing burnout. As part of your personal training, you will not only be guided through your workouts, you will be taught to perform certain aspects of your workout routine on your own, without your trainer. As your fitness level progresses, you will be encouraged to cut back on sessions with your trainer and continue working out on your own, thus leading you into an independently fit lifestyle.
