The MSW program requires completion of 60 credit hours; as a full-time student this can be attained within 2 years, as a part-time student the time will be extended depending upon completion of field placement hours. What are the requirements to apply to the Advanced Standing MSW program The requirements of the Advanced standing in the MSW program are a BSW attained from an accredited social work program within the last three years. If you have attained a BSW prior you may still be eligible for advanced standing by testing out of the 1st year 1 semester courses.
