How many credit hours can be transferred from the community colleges?
A. 60 credit hours are transferable. Credit hours from organic chemistry and physics courses and any other courses beyond the 60 credit hours at the community colleges will not be transferable. FIU will recognize the fact that you have taken these courses and therefore you will not be required to retake them at FIU.
