The Blackberry currently has a Java-based (RecordStore) database limit of 64Kb per record type. Based upon this RecordStore limit, that means you can store approximately: * 10-15 Rounds (depending upon the number of sidegames being played); * 20-40 Courses (depending upon how many have GPS coordinates included), and * 100s of Players on your Blackberry. For those users that want to keep more players, courses, and rounds, the IntelliGolf Birdie and Eagle edition software includes the ability to synchronize all of these items to the include Windows-based IntelliGolf desktop software. The IntelliGolf desktop software does not have any (practical) limits on storing rounds, courses, and players (i.e. GBs on your PC :-). The RecordStore limit is only on the Blackberry and is a function of RIM’s Java implementation (i.e. probably to protect memory overruns). BTW – The IntelliGolf handset software will let you know when you are approaching the Blackberry’s RecordStore limits.
