How many countries in Europe are connected to the EU?
I wasn’t clear what you meant by “connected”. If you mean how many countries are part of the EU then the above list is correct However there are also countries are either in the process or seeking to become part of the EU. The timeframe or indeed acceptance is not clear though for these countries: There are three official candidate countries, Croatia, FYROM and Turkey which have all already applied to become part of the EU Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and Serbia as well as Kosovo now are officially recognised as potential candidates.
