How many countries fought in World War 1?
British Empire this also includes Canada! There were 135 countries waring against each other “World War.” In 1918 the Germans decided to attack before American soldiers arrived in Europe along with Canada, Italy, etc. Germany thought that the U.S. was providing the British Empire with food, etc., and they were suppose to a neutral country. Germany asked for peace from the Allies and the war ended Nov. 11, 1918.
