Australia is a continent but only one country. it consists of various states and territories. ACT ( Australian Capital Territory ) NT ( Northern Territory ) New South Wales ( State ) Queensland ( State ) South Australia ( State ) Tasmania ( State ) Victoria ( State ) Western Australia ( State ) Nothing about Australia is small. We have farms larger than lots of countries !
you got one thing right australia is a continent. but unlike all the other continents it only has one country which is australia. we do have states/territories though victoria, act, new south wales, queensland, tasmania, south australia, western australia and northern territory. australia is the only continent in the world that is a country and an island.
