How many counties are using AACTS?
Prior to the existence of the CareAccess portal, MMTG worked with individual counties on locally housed versions of AACTS. Deployments were expensive and time consuming, as were ongoing maintenance and required State updates. The advent of the web portal made AACTS affordable to small and large counties alike, with the cost of upgrades shared pro-rata, based on number of users. On the “AACTS Updates” page you will find a timeline listing each AACTS subscriber county plus important upgrade implementations and other events. Click here to view the timeline. Our 100th user joined the AACTS online family in 2005. Mid-2006 saw our 200th user added, and by the end of 2007 there were well in excess of 300. Currently about a third of California Counties are using AACTS.
