How many copies of the compilation CD will be produced?
On the original compilation CD, I (Gold Record Music) said I was going to produce only 1,000 CDs. Because of our involvement with SpringBound Music and Music Rebellion on this project, we will be pressing 5,000 CDs. We will send 3000 CDs to the 300 college radio stations in a ten state area, which includes Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, New York, Michigan, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee and West Virginia. Each college station will receive ten copies to use as give-aways on-air. This will greater enhance the promotion of your music. The remaining CDs will be distributed to our street team for listening parties on these campuses to further promote your band’s music. None of these CDs will be sold by anyone. They are to be given away and to be used for promotional purposes only. Your band will receive a minimum of ten CDs. Please remember you can give them away but not sell them.
