How many Continuing Medical Education (CME) credit hours are required to renew my license?
A. The Board requires 100 hours of CME credits within each renewal period. The majority of the CME credits must relate to your primary area of practice. A minimum of 40 hours must be completed in Category 1 study and you may obtain no more than 60 hours of credit in Category 2. A minimum of ten (10) hours must be in the area of risk management.
