How many congressmen have children serving in Iraq/ Afghanistan in harms way?

Not many. But there is a reason. Most Represenatives average age is around 55 years old, so that makes their children around 30 to 35 years old. So unless thier children were career military, they would not be serving. And the media never reports on if their children had served before they became representatives. 2. For senators its even worse, since the average senator is around 63 years old, so thier children are in the mid to late 30’s. 3, Thr real isse is, the lack of congressmen with military service, it has decreased every election for the last 20 years.
