Would it be WRONG, or would it be ILLEGAL. Those are two different questions. It is legal. It’s wrong though. This is the same type of logic that caused women to have to fight so hard for rights in the workplace. Well the woman should have a husband to provide for her so they don’t need the job as much as a guy was the thought. It was wrong then and it’s wrong when it’s a young guy trying to start out. It was also legal to give women the shaft like that years ago. I don’t think younger workers will ever be protected though.
