How many clients can the client/server model handle?

0

The client/server model is optimized for 250 to 500 clients, but we have many customers running over 500 clients simultaneously and the largest installations I have run across have about 2000 simultaneous users. This, of course, depends heavily on the application, network, servers, and configuration in order to get acceptable performance but it is possible to run very heavy loads against Pervasive.SQL. We also have customers who run extremely heavy transaction loads against Pervasive.SQL servers though they often do not have nearly as many clients as the sites I’ve mentioned here.
