How many claims can a Harbour Authority submit for an accident that re-occurs for the same reason (i.e. the same rock of piece or wood damaging different boats)?
The HA can report as many incidents as they get. The claims come from the third party. The insurer will evaluate each claim to its own merit. Naturally, a HA that knows of a situation at their HA that is hazardous should take every step to fix it. Following a claim, the insurer can also make a recommendation for improvement of a site and advise the HA that if it does not proceed with the recommendation, the insurer can review its position on the entire account.
