How many children from Deerfield Beach are attending Lyons Creek Middle?
As of the 20th day of school, September 18, 2008, 508 students residing in the city of Deerfield Beach are attending Lyons Creek Middle. However, because the state of Florida does not have city schools, attendance areas are determined by Districtwide needs and not by local city boundaries as per state law . In other words, Broward’s public schools are part of the county-at-large and attendance areas do not follow city limits.
