How many children are reported lost or missing each day?
According to the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention’s NISMART 2 report released in October 2002, there are over 800,000 missing children reported each year in the United States, which is almost 2,200 reports each day – or about two missing children reported every minute of every day, 365 days each year.
