How many certified teachers are on staff?
The teaching staff at St. James is comprised of 6 certified teachers and 5 trained assistant teachers. Teachers are certified by either the State of New Jersey or NAEYC s CDA certification. For ongoing training and development, our teachers attend the national conference held in November sponsored by the National Association for the Education of Young Children. Teachers also have the opportunity to attend workshops offered locally. Teachers are also certified in basic First Aid and CPR.
