How many CBT Counselling sessions will I need?
The period of time over which you meet will depend upon your the severity and chronicity or your problem(s), however on average for mild problems with a relatively recent onset 10-15 CBT Counselling sessions are recommended, for moderate problems 20-30 CBT Counselling sessions are recommended and for more severe problems 40+ CBT Counselling session are recommended. The CBT Counselling programme is reviewed on a regular basis to ensure that satisfactory progress is being made and that you are comfortable with all aspects of the CBT Counselling you are receiving. The more time you can dedicate to practicing the techniques you are taught the more quickly you will begin to notice improvements in how you feel and how you respond things.
