How many cameras can connect to one wireless access point (AP)? What is the effective distance for VIVOTEK wireless cameras?

1. The effective distance for wireless cameras is 20~30 meters. 2. As for 7000 series cameras, if their output is 640×480 size video, one router can connect 2 units of 7000 cameras and work smoothly, but if the units is up to 3~4, they may be unstable. So if you want to connect 3~4 cameras to one router, please use smaller video size such as 320×240 or 176×144… etc. 3. As for 6000 series cameras, if their output is 320*240 or 352*240 size video, one router can connect about 5 units of 6000 series cameras and work smoothly.
