How many calories should i intake daily in order to maintain weight?
Your BMR (amount of calories you would burn if you stayed in bed all day) is 1360. To maintain your current weight your calorie needs would be 1360×1.375=1870 calories per day. It takes 3000 calories to produce a pound of fat, so if you ate 1870 calories everyday and 1000 extra on the weekends, then every 3 weeks (1000×3=3000 calories) you would gain 1 pound (unless you exercised it off). On a side note, there is no such thing as having a schedule too busy to exercise. All it takes is 20-30 minutes a day. Buy an exercise DVD, get up 30 minutes earlier, workout while watching TV, take a walk on your lunch break.
