How many calories does a slice of chocolate cake have?
It really does depend on whether the chocolate cake is home made or shop bought, and if it’s the latter, there are loads of different types and brands of chocolate cake out there so that makes a big difference. The size of the slice is another determinant as well. Pretty sure certain brands of individual chocolate fudge cake slices with rich frostings on the top and in the middle have like 500 calories or something enormous like that. So if it’s a slice of chocolate cake with a rich butter cream type icing then the calories will be higher, much higher, and even higher still if the slice of cake is very big. Just an ordinary chocolate sponge cake without any toppings or fillings will have significantly fewer calories in it, even fewer still if it’s a specific diet version of cake. But I suppose most chocolate cakes do have some sort of icing or filling.
