How many calories do sit-ups burn?
This is right, but only some of the time. The amount of calories burned during any activity depend on you BMI, body weight, height. Also the speed at which you are doing the sit ups will affect how many calories you are burning. Overtime you will build some muscle from sit ups, and the more muscle you have, the more calories you will burn. If you are just starting sit ups, in the first 30 seconds you wont be burning as many calories as you will be in the second 30 seconds. Your body is more tired and it is using more to burn the calories, and to do the sit up. If you are doing sit ups consistently, overtime you will burn more calories, each time you do your normal amount of sit ups. The first time you do sit ups you will probably burn 75 to 110 calories for 100 sit ups in a row. Over time this will increase.
